Diego Davella hailing from Manaus, Brazil is one of the limited people in the world to attain a black belt in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Luta Livre and is considered as one of the top prospects in Brazilian MMA and has fought and beaten some of the toughest fighters in the sport. Diego has been training since 13 years old starting out as a BJJ practitioner under Ajuricaba Mascarnehas and Francisco Assis. Diego then picked up Wrestling in 2008 training with multiple times Brazilian wrestling champion Waldeci Silva and MMA with professor Leonardo Lucerna at the same time where he had training partners such as Alan Nugette (UFC Fighter), Dileno Lopes (TUF Finalist Ex-UFC), Alexandre Capitao (WSOF Champion), Naldo Silva and Heliton dos Santos. He later moved on to Curitiba in 2009 training and fighting out of CM System under world renowned Master Cristiano Marcello coach to legends of the sport including Wanderlei Silva and Mauricio Shogun. The result of training under such master has resulted Diego on to the path of fulfilling his potential as a top tier fighter, he is currently 17-5-1 as a professional MMA fighter (9 of these wins coming by way of submission and 4 by knockout). Diego is a very versatile fighter, well rounded and mostly feared for his vigorous style of grappling.

Eyas has been training in the Mixed Martial Arts field for over 5 years and has trained and worked with some of the best coaches in the world in different martial arts discipline. Eyas has been privileged to train twice in Thailand and also has been training for 1 year in Manchester while attaining a Master’s degree in Islamic Banking & Finance. To name a few of the coaches Eyas has previously worked with: Steve Petramale (One of the best boxing coaches in the world, gives seminars around the world in Boxing for MMA and has worked with many top fighters and UFC Champions ), Jesse Taylor (NCAA Division I wrestler and UFC Veteran, champion of 5 MMA promotions in 2014), Kameron Atakuru (Catch Wrestling standout, ADCC UK Professional Division champion and one of UK’s most sought after Wrestling and Submission grappling coaches). We will also be expecting some of these instructors to visit The Pride MMA in the future.
